Job summary

Hudsonville Ice Cream is seeking an Operations Supervisor to lead hourly production staff on a designated shift, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality operations. You will drive performance reviews, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration to uphold The Hudsonville Way.

You will oversee line metrics, perform daily tiered meetings, and support TPM/Lean initiatives while maintaining a strong culture of ownership and continuous improvement on the production floor.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; Bachelor’s degree preferred in Operations/Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years of manufacturing supervisory experience is preferred, especially in food production or CPG industries.
• Proven ability to lead teams to achieve safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day production line operations and meet schedule targets.
• Lead hourly production staff; coach and develop team; drive shift-level performance.
• Ensure safety, quality, GMP, and regulatory compliance across the line.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Maintenance, Process Owners, Quality) for continuous improvement.
• Drive Lean and TPM-based improvements to reduce waste and optimize throughput.
