Job summary

Kent Quality Foods in Hudsonville is hiring for the 3rd shift Sanitation crew. You will maintain sanitation standards, clean equipment, and support production teams. The role requires safe operation in line with GMP and food safety requirements, and may involve weekend work.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand or walk for extended periods in a manufacturing environment.
• Able to lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Must operate safely and in compliance with food safety and GMP standards.
• Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensures equipment is operating properly and safely.
• Responsible for cleaning and sanitation of all equipment.
• Maintains the entire work area in a clean and orderly condition.
• Accurately document work performed.
• Assist in cross-training team members.
• Follow safety requirements including LOTO and PPE.
• Must possess good communication skills, and the proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Mix and prep chemicals for sanitation activities in accordance with company specifications; ensure correct amounts are being used.
• Willing to work overtime and Saturdays if needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
