Job summary

Rudolph Foods in Beaumont, CA is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee daily warehouse operations, ensuring safe receipt, storage, and shipment of finished goods and raw materials.

You will lead a team, manage inventory, coordinate with production and logistics, and enforce OSHA, GMPs, and HACCP standards while fostering continuous improvement.

This role requires 3+ years in warehouse/distribution, 1–3 years of supervision, and flexibility for a 2nd shift (6pm–3am).

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 3+ years of warehouse or distribution experience, preferably in food manufacturing or CPG.
• 1–3 years of supervisory or lead experience.
• Knowledge of inventory control, shipping/receiving, and warehouse best practices.
• Basic computer skills; experience with WMS/ERP systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, inventory audits, and proper documentation.
• Coordinate product flow to support production schedules and customer deliveries.
• Monitor warehouse capacity, layout, and material handling processes for efficiency.
• Ensure proper handling and rotation of products following FIFO/FEFO practices.
• Lead, train, coach, and motivate warehouse associates to meet performance and safety goals.
• Assign work, manage labor schedules, approve timecards, and ensure adequate staffing levels.
• Conduct performance feedback, coaching, and corrective action as needed.
• Support onboarding and ongoing training for warehouse employees.

The Warehouse Supervisor atRudolph Foods is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and accurate receipt, storage, and shipment of finished goods and raw materials. This role plays a critical part in maintaining food safety standards, inventory accuracy, team productivity, and on-time delivery to customers while supporting Rudolph Foods’ commitment to quality and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities Operations & Inventory Management

• Supervise day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, put-away, picking, packing, and shipping
• Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts, inventory audits, and proper documentation
• Coordinate product flow to support production schedules and customer deliveries
• Monitor warehouse capacity, layout, and material handling processes for efficiency

Safety, Quality & Compliance

• Enforce OSHA, food safety (GMPs), HACCP, and company safety standards at all times
• Ensure a clean, organized, and audit-ready warehouse environment
• Participate in internal and external audits and implement corrective actions
• Report and investigate safety incidents, near misses, and product quality issues

Systems & Reporting

• Utilize Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and ERP systems to track inventory and shipments
• Prepare and review operational reports related to productivity, accuracy, safety, and shipping performance
• Communicate effectively with Production, Quality, Transportation, and Customer Service teams
• Identify opportunities to improve workflows, reduce waste, and increase efficiency
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and company operational goals
• Assist with special projects as assigned

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
• 3+ years of warehouse or distribution experience, preferably in food manufacturing or CPG
• 1–3 years of supervisory or lead experience
• Knowledge of inventory control, shipping/receiving, and warehouse best practices
• Working knowledge of food safety, GMPs, and OSHA requirements
• Basic computer skills; experience with WMS/ERP systems preferred
• Strong leadership, communication, and team-building skills
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines
• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus

Physical & Work Environment Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand or walk for extended periods
• Exposure to warehouse conditions including temperature variations and equipment noise
• Ability to operate or oversee material handling equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
• Able to work 2nd Shift (6pm to 3am)

Pay Range:$71,500 and $72,500
