Job summary

Permatex, part of ITW, is seeking an Order Selector to join our Distribution team in Solon, IA. This 2nd shift role (3pm–11pm, Monday–Friday) requires accurate picking, labeling and transporting orders, with overtime possible.

You will use RF technology to fulfill orders and generate paperwork, standing and lifting up to 65 pounds, and maintaining a safe, efficient work pace. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and 2 years of prior picking/warehouse experience.

Qualifications

• Must be detail oriented and able to perform basic mathematical functions.
• Must be able to understand and carry out oral and/or written instructions.
• Must read and write English and perform simple math calculations.
• Must be computer literate.

Responsibilities

• Required to work a minimum of 8 hours per day, 5 days per week; overtime on weekends may be required.
• Accurately pick customer orders and ensure adherence to customer requirements.
• Use RF technology to fulfill orders and generate labels and paperwork.
• Stand/walk for the shift and lift up to 65 pounds.
• Operate motorized material handling equipment.
• Conduct regular housekeeping aisle audits.
• Plan work activities and meet daily productivity goals.
• Contribute to the Safety Program.
