Job summary

Permobil is hiring an Order Selector for 2nd shift in New Berlin, WI. The role involves retrieving components, stock management, and preparing orders for assembly to ensure timely delivery.

The successful candidate will read orders, manage stock levels, and coordinate with purchasing to resolve shortages or discrepancies. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and basic math, with additional responsibilities including inventory audits, maintaining Kanban, and operating

Qualifications

• Basic mathematical skills and ability to perform measurements accurately.
• Ability to read and understand English instructions and safety documents.
• Good oral and written communication with team members and supervisors.
• Familiarity with stock control, material handling, and inventory processes.
• Ability to plan, organize tasks, and handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve components and distribute to assembly or staging areas, monitoring stock levels and coordinating with purchasing to fix discrepancies.
• Read and interpret ED0/sales orders to determine components needed.
• Retrieve correct components to fulfill orders and ensure on-time delivery.
• Communicate shortages or problems with supervisor and purchasing to resolve issues.
• Perform inventory audits and maintain Kanban systems and cycle counts.
