Job summary

GSC Wholesale LLC in Houston is seeking a Warehouse Selector to pick and prepare orders in a frozen/perishable facility. This full-time role operates on Sundays through Fridays, with a 2nd shift from 3:00 p.m.

until completion, at 3100 Holcombe Blvd, Houston, TX 77021. You will earn $18 per hour plus a $1.50 cooler/freezer premium, a $1.00 shift differential, and eligibility for incentives and attendance pay.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required.
• General studies background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Pick items using order sheets or audio headset.
• Stack items on pallets for loading at the bay doors.
• Ensure order accuracy while following safety standards.
• Operate a double walkie-rider or electric pallet jack as needed.
• Apply proper wrapping techniques to protect products.
• Inform supervisor of quantity/description differences.
• Perform equipment inspections and complete relevant forms.
• Lift varying weights safely throughout the shift.
• Follow all material handling equipment SOPs.

• Environment: Frozen & Perishable facility only (cold environment)
• Schedule: Sunday through Friday (The facility is closed on Saturdays).

Job Description

Earn $18 per hour + $1.50 (cooler/freezer premium) + 1.00 shift differential (4:00 p.m.-4:00 a.m.) + Incentive and Attendance Pay (once you qualify)

FT, 2nd shift, 3:00 p.m. until completion, (Sunday-Friday), 5 days on/2 days off

Location: 3100 Holcombe Blvd. Houston, Texas 77021

You will contribute by:

• Picking various items by using order sheets or an audio headset
• Stacking items on a pallet for wrapping and loading at the bay doors
• Ensuring accuracy to orders while adhering to our safety standards
• Operating a double walkie-rider or electric pallet jack to remove cases of products from storage rack & place on pallet and apply selection labels to appropriate cases (not in all cases)
• Utilizing proper wrapping techniques to ensure safety of product to prevent damages
• Informing Supervisor of any differences in case quantity and/or description
• Performing equipment inspections & completion of appropriate form
• Frequent safe lifting of varying case weight, shape, and height levels
• Having the ability and willingness to follow all material handling equipment safe operating procedures

• Continually Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift
• Walking between 6-12 miles per day on various surfaces including concrete, tile, carpet, etc.
• Frequently lifting of product weighing between 1 - 60 lbs. or more
• Frequent lifting of product ranging from floor to overhead
• Possibility of working on multiple levels of varying height
• Safe handling of sharp objects including box cutting tools
