Job summary

Lineage Logistics is seeking a 2nd shift warehouse associate in Chicago to move products using a forklift and pallet jack, following safety standards. You will verify inventory, read work orders, locate items, and prepare pallets for shipping with RF scanning.

Ideal candidates are able to lift up to 40 lbs, work in cold or warm storage conditions, and maintain accurate records while supporting a clean, organized warehouse on shift end. Lineage offers benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Identify products by reading, interpreting, and scanning pallet IDs.
• Ability to understand instructions in the official language.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in temperatures from -20 F to 100 F in storage environments.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
• Comfortable with varying noise levels.

Responsibilities

• Read and follow computerized work orders to determine quantities and types of products to be shipped.
• Determine the location of requested items in the warehouse.
• Change over pallets for picking and inspect items for damages or flaws.
• Document and report damages to supervisors or leads.
• Pack, seal, and label materials/pallets for shipping using RF scanning equipment to verify counts.
• Alert supervisor of issues with products or materials and follow directions to rectify.
• Help clean and organize the warehouse at shift end.
• Work with other machinery and material handling equipment.
