Job summary

Lineage Logistics in Chicago, IL is hiring a Warehouse Generalist for the 2nd shift, working Monday through Friday from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM. The role uses RF scanning and forklift equipment to move items safely within cold and dry storage areas.

You will label, pack, and prepare pallets for outbound shipments, verify counts, and document any damages. The position requires the ability to lift up to 40 lbs and maintain clean, organized work areas in a fast-paced warehouse.

Qualifications

• Able to operate forklift equipment and move palletized units safely.
• Basic math skills for counting and recording quantities.
• Identify products through reading pallet IDs or scanning.
• Experience with RF systems is a plus.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Move and place palletized units using forklift in racks and on/off trucks.
• Read work orders and locate items in the warehouse for outbound shipments.
• Document damages or discrepancies to supervisors using RF system.
• Pack, seal, label, and ensure pallets are secured for transport.
• Follow computerized work orders to locate items in the warehouse.
• Document and report damages and discrepancies to supervisors.
• Complete daily forklift maintenance/check sheets and monitor battery charge.
• Keep the warehouse clean and organized throughout the shift.
