Job summary

GEODIS is seeking a Warehouse Operator for the 2nd shift (3:30pm–12am), Monday through Friday, at our Bolingbrook, IL facility. You will read schedules, pull and prepare products for shipment, and move items using forklift or power equipment.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 3–6 months of warehouse experience, forklift experience, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and adherence to safety regulations.

Qualifications

• High school education or GED equivalency.
• 3–6 months experience in a warehouse environment.
• Previous forklift experience required.
• Ability to follow safety regulations while operating equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Willingness to learn warehouse equipment operations.

Responsibilities

• Reads production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved and distributed.
• Pulls and prepares product for shipment, ensuring accurate quantity and type.
• Sorts and places materials on racks or shelves according to predetermined criteria.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and conveys orders to packing/shipping.
