Job summary

Porter Pipe & Supply in Indianapolis, IN is hiring a Warehouse Operations Support Specialist for the 2nd shift. The role includes processing Material Test Reports (MTRs) and supporting warehouse operations, with an hourly pay range of $19.00–$21.00 plus a $2 per hour shift differential.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or GED and distribution/warehouse experience.
• Experience with MTR documentation or related documentation is preferred.
• Strong mathematical aptitude and ability to work with accuracy and speed.

Responsibilities

• Process Material Test Reports (MTRs) for pipe and fittings requiring certification.
• Match-MTRs to correct material and customer order; ensure documentation matches product.
• Review material specifications, manufacturing information, heat numbers, and other required documents.
• Enter and maintain MTR/order data using Excel/Office; communicate with internal/external stakeholders.
