Job summary

Alleguard in Bastrop, Texas is seeking a 2nd Shift Warehouse Material Handler to support production and repack operations by moving products through the drying/curing room. The role pays $16.50 USD per hour plus a $1.00 USD per hour shift premium. The position involves physical movement of freight and materials, strict adherence to safety policies, and a flexible schedule from 3:00 p.m.

to 1:30 a.m. Monday through Thursday.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking.

• Able to work independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to prioritize in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from storage and production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, and containers by hand or using manual pallet jack, forklift, or other equipment as assigned.
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
• Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.
• Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area. Perform duties in compliance with all safety policies and practices.
• Comply with procedures, regulations, and instructions of environmental and safety programs.

Position: 2nd Shift Warehouse Material Handler

Job Summary

Support the production and repack operations through the physical movement of products that are required to be processed through the drying/curing room.

Pay:$16.50 USD/hr + $1 USD/hr Shift Premium

• Other duties asassigned.

Physical Demands

• Position may require periods of intense physical exertion in conditions of low to high temperatures and humidity.
• Position requires the ability to stand, bend, and stretch over extended periods of time during a normal work shift.
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs.

Schedule

• Monday through Thursday
• 3:00 p.m. - 1:30 a.m.
• Flexibility is a must- Hours subject to change based on production schedule
