Job summary

Alleguard in Bastrop, TX is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler to support production and repack operations by moving products through the drying/curing process.

The role requires forklift experience, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and a 5:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. schedule Monday through Thursday. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and retirement options.

Responsibilities

• Attach identifying tags or labels to containers.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow safety policies.
• Comply with environmental and safety requirements and programs.
• Follow environmental and safety procedures and instructions.
• Other duties as assigned.

Position:Warehouse Material Handler

Pay:$16.50 USD/hr

Job Summary

Support the production and repack operations through the physical movement of products that are required to be processed through the drying/curing room.

Responsibilities

• Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from storage and production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, and containers by hand or using manual pallet jack, forklift, or other equipment as assigned.
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
• Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.
• Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area. Perform duties in compliance with all safety policies and practices.
• Compliance with legal environmental and safety requirements of the area.
• Know the environmental aspects of the area and its control.
• Know the environmental impacts associated with their activities.
• Follow all Environmental and Safety policies.
• Comply with procedures, regulations, and instructions of environmental and safety programs.
• Other duties asassigned.

Qualifications

Physical Demands

• Position may require periods of intense physical exertion in conditions of low to high temperatures and humidity.
• Position requires the ability to stand, bend, and stretch over extended periods of time during a normal work shift.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

• Monday through Thursday
• 5:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m.
• Flexibility is a must- Hours subject to change based on production schedule
