Job summary

Alleguard in Bastrop, Texas is seeking a 2nd Shift Warehouse Material Handler to support production and repack operations through the physical movement of products. The role involves operating pallet jacks and forklifts, reading work orders, and maintaining records for a safe, organized workspace.

You will work Monday-Thursday, 3:00 p.m.–1:30 a.m., with a base pay of $16.50 per hour plus a $1 per hour shift premium. Alleguard offers a comprehensive benefits package and opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

• Move freight, stock, and other materials to and from storage and production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, and containers by hand or using manual pallet jack, forklift, or other equipment as assigned.
• Read work orders or receive oral instructions to determine work assignments and material and equipment needs.
• Record numbers of units handled and moved, using daily production sheets or work tickets.
• Attach identifying tags to containers or mark them with identifying information.
• Maintain an organized and clean work area. Perform duties in compliance with all safety policies and practices.
• Compliance with legal environmental and safety requirements of the area.
• Know the environmental aspects of the area and its control.
• Know the environmental impacts associated with their activities.
• Follow all Environmental and Safety policies.
• Comply with procedures, regulations, and instructions of environmental and safety programs.
• Other duties asassigned.

Physical Demands

• Position may require periods of intense physical exertion in conditions of low to high temperatures and humidity.
• Position requires the ability to stand, bend, and stretch over extended periods of time during a normal work shift.

• 3:00 p.m. - 1:30 a.m.
• Flexibility is a must- Hours subject to change based on production schedule
