O'Neal Steel seeks a Loader for the 2nd shift at our Shelbyville, IN facility. The role loads and unloads material in a warehouse using forklifts, cranes, conveyors, and other handling equipment.

You will follow established procedures and safety guidelines to move material to trucks or trains and within the storage area. Responsibilities include operating a variety of material handling equipment, reading tape measures, and ensuring accurate order packing.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate a wide variety of material handling equipment including forklift and cranes.
• Ability to read a tape measure.
• Strong safety awareness and organization.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving for planning loads.
• Must verify material, quantity, and packaging per order.
• Must pass criminal background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload material within a warehouse.
• Operate equipment such as forklift, overhead crane, stacker, and side loader.
• Verify material, quantity, packaging, and other instructions for each order.
• Maintain a safe and organized work area.
• Support overtime as needed on the 2nd shift.
