Job summary

Rise Baking Company, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor for the 2nd shift in Dallas. The role oversees day-to-day warehouse operations, plans shipments, and enforces safety and quality standards.

The ideal candidate has 2–5 years of leadership experience in warehousing, is proficient with WMS/ERP systems and Microsoft Office, and can train and manage teams to meet plant goals. Competitive benefits and 401k offered.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in business or related field preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 2-5 years of leadership experience in warehouse or distribution center management.
• Strong computer skills including experience with warehouse management systems, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
• Strong leadership and team-building skills.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to think critically and solve complex problems.
• Ability to organize, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-directed with the ability to work without close supervision.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate warehouse activities with the Warehouse Manager, including shipping, receiving, storage and inventory.
• Execute warehouse schedule to meet customer orders and ensure food safety and quality standards.
• Establish employee schedule and coordinate work of warehouse associates to meet goals.
• Communicate information and issues across shifts.
• Train, coach and supervise warehouse staff; cross-train on required training.
• Use performance metrics to provide feedback on productivity, cost, quality and safety.
• Enforce attendance, GMPs, productivity metrics and SOP compliance.
• Operate within the warehouse labor budget and report on direct labor and efficiencies.
• Inspect warehouses and arrange maintenance or replacements as needed.
• Maintain safe working conditions and conduct safety audits.
• Collaborate with HR regarding personnel and performance issues.
• Assist with merit reviews and uptime of equipment with Maintenance.
