Job summary

Werner is seeking a 2nd Shift Warehouse Team Lead at our Appleton location to guide Teammates through receiving, put-away, picking, replenishment, and shipping for longstock orders. You will drive productivity, quality, and timely movement of goods in a dynamic environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, strong attention to detail, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding setting with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Warehouse Teammates.
• Delegate tasks, set priorities, and monitor work progress to meet KPIs.
• Provide training and guidance to team members to enhance skills.
• Oversee receiving process with verification, inspection, and documentation.
• Manage organized storage within the Distribution Center.
• Coordinate order picking to fulfill customer orders accurately.
• Verify order accuracy and quality before shipment.
• Plan and execute replenishment to maintain stock levels.
• Monitor low-stock or overstock situations and report them.
• Oversee shipping, ensure secure packing, proper labeling, and timely shipment.
• Collaborate on time-sensitive (RUSH) orders.
• Maintain inventory records via WMS transactions and stock checks.
