Responsibilities include supervising staff, ensuring timely processing of activities, training new hires, maintaining OSHA safety standards, and accurate inventory control.

Qualifications

• Supervisory experience is required and prior leadership in a warehouse setting is preferred.
• Experience in metals processing/distribution is advantageous but not mandatory.
• Strong organizational and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency with MS Office and web-based management tools.
• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Staff supervision: schedule, supervise, and assign tasks; evaluate performance.
• Operational oversight: ensure timely and accurate completion of loading and material handling.
• Recruitment and training: interview, recruit, and train new employees.
• Safety compliance: maintain a safe working environment per OSHA standards.
• Inventory management: oversee records and track inbound/outbound materials.
• Equipment maintenance: inspect and ensure proper maintenance of equipment.
• Reporting: prepare and review inventory and operation reports.
• Additional duties: perform other related tasks as assigned.
