Job summary

Genie is hiring an Equipment Operator for the 2nd shift in Southaven, MS. This temporary role involves unloading, receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory transfers using PIT equipment and RF devices.

Candidate should have a HS diploma or equivalent, at least 1 year of PIT experience, and ideally a PIT license. Prior experience in fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year experience with PIT equipment.
• Current PIT license is preferred.
• Minimum of 1-year previous experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing or warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Unloading, receiving, stocking, picking, packing, shipping, loading, and inventory transfers.
• Use TMS software via computer and RF mobile equipment.
• Stacks skids or pallets in designated areas.
• General housekeeping duties to keep locations, aisles, equipment, and workstations neat and organized.
• Use of PIT up to 15,000 lbs including Sit-down Forklift, Reach Truck, Order Picker, Stacker, Electric Pallet Jack, and Work Assist Vehicles.
• Move materials through facility with carts and fixtures, safely and efficiently.
• Efficient and timely handling of all materials.
• Flexibility to work in all areas of the warehouse.
• Follow Standard Work Procedures.
• Commitment to safety, quality, inventory control, Lean principles.
• Escalation of key issues to Supervisor/Manager.
• Other duties as assigned.
