Job summary

Ferguson Enterprises seeks a 2nd Shift DC General Warehouse Associate - Equipment Operator to join our team in Iowa. You'll help ensure inbound shipments are received, coordinate order fulfillment, and pack goods for dispatch using brand-new equipment.

The role starts at $24.50/hr, with earning potential up to $5.50/hr more based on performance, on a 4p-12:30a schedule plus overtime as needed. A high school diploma is required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proven ability to work well in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Ensures inbound shipments are received and registered accurately.
• Performs general warehouse duties facilitating the flow of goods.
• Assists the site management to align with Health, Safety and Environmental legislation, completing documentation and records as required.
• Resolves orders that cannot be dispatched or on hold by liaising with other departments.
• Picks and packs goods ready for dispatch.
• Adheres to company compliance and Health Safety and Environment (HSE) policies, procedures, and requirements.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Other duties as assigned.
