Job summary

Meijer is seeking a warehouse team member to manage order and inventory accuracy throughout the distribution center, from receiving to store shipment. You will work with drivers and unloaders, ensuring quality and temperature controls during transfer and storage.

The role emphasizes strict adherence to inventory practices, sanitation, and safety, with a focus on reliability, teamwork and strong interpersonal communication to support ongoing operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Intermediate computer / technology skills.
• Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior warehouse experience helpful.
• Must possess good listening and communication skills.
• Must possess good interpersonal skills and build work relationships.

Responsibilities

• Ensure order and inventory accuracy via established processes.
• Work with truck drivers and unloaders during receiving and shipping for Fresh and Frozen foods.
• Maintain quality and temperature standards during transfer and storage.
• Follow inventory control practices to meet Meijer standards.
• Complete receiving-order-shipping processes accurately.
• Maintain sanitation standards in the facility.
• Demonstrate safety accountability in daily duties.
