Job summary

Staples in Orlando, FL is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support our distribution center operations. The role may place you in multiple areas such as Bulk/Material Handling, Porter, Replenishment, Receiving/Putaway, Returns, and Shipping.

You will operate material handling equipment (forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, pallet jacks) and perform lifting up to 100 lbs, with emphasis on safety and teamwork. The position offers competitive pay ($22.75/hour including $1 shift differential) and

Qualifications

Minimum three (3) months related experience in a warehouse environment.
Ability to pass a drug screen to the extent legally permissible.
Basic English language skills (verbal and written).
Overtime may be required for Full-Time associates based on business needs.

Responsibilities

Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, cherry pickers, turrets, or electric pallet jacks to pick product up to 100 lbs.
Perform duties as Warehouse Bulk/Material Handling Equipment Operator, Warehouse Porter, Replenishment, Receiving/Putaway/Returns, Returns, and Shipping as needed.
Maintain safety procedures and clean, organized work areas.
Unload trucks and palletize products, verify quantities and documentation.
Move products within the warehouse in a safe manner.
Coordinate with colleagues and external contacts to resolve discrepancies and issues.
