Job summary

Staff Perm is seeking a Distribution Associate II to operate standup forklifts on the 2nd shift in our Orlando warehouse supporting a global HVAC climate control products distributor. The role emphasizes accurate shipment, receiving, and clerical duties, with a pathway from contract to full-time employment.

Responsibilities include safe powered equipment operation, verifying items against records, packing to specifications, documenting movements, and routing materials to inspection or stock

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with standup forklift operation preferred.
• Proficiency with RF scanner technology.
• Ability to wear steel toe boots.
• Successful completion of drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Operate powered equipment such as standup forklifts safely and efficiently.
• Perform manual and clerical duties related to shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products under general supervision.
• Receive goods, verify items against shipment records, and inspect their condition.
• Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications and transportation methods.
• Record received and shipped items following established procedures.
• Route materials, supplies, and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Complete written and computerized documentation accurately.
