Job summary

Hubbell is seeking a qualified Warehouse Associate I to join our distribution center team in the United States. You will handle inventory, receive shipments, move products, and perform cycle counts using safe forklift operation and warehouse equipment.

In this role you will follow Hubbell safety standards, maintain order and accuracy, and participate in continuous improvement activities to support efficient operations.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work for up to nine hours per day.

  • Knowledge of appropriate handling, safety, and warehouse standards.
  • Basic problem-solving skills for routine job issues.

Responsibilities

  • Follow all safety, company, and 6S standards in the distribution center to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently to avoid accidents.
  • Report equipment and infrastructure damage so repairs can be made to minimize safety risk.
  • Perform assigned warehouse tasks using standard work and policies to maintain safety and quality.
  • Follow all visual aids in the distribution center to maximize safety, quality, and productivity.
  • Contribute process suggestions to continuously improve warehouse operations.
  • Identify deviations in the process and immediately notify a supervisor to correct the issue.
  • Participate in continuous improvement events to improve operations.
  • Perform miscellaneous activities as directed by the manager to support warehouse operations efficiently.
