Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Warehouse Operator in Charlotte, NC to fulfill orders, perform picking, packing and shipping, and maintain a safe, organized work area. The role requires lifting up to 50 pounds, standing through shifts, and willingness to train on material handling equipment.

Shifts run Monday through Friday starting at 1:00 PM with mandatory overtime as needed. The pay rate is $18.70 per hour and employees are eligible for a comprehensive benefits package and early access to wages

Qualifications

Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift and stand for entire shift.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Comfort working with heights up to 20 to 30 feet regularly.
Self-motivated with ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Ability to follow direction and change priorities.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Experience working with technologies, like computers or point of sale systems, a plus.
Overtime as necessary to complete daily work.

Responsibilities

Follow established process to fulfill orders including picking, packing and preparing shipments.
Cross-training in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects.
Perform housekeeping and inventory control and maintain a clean, safe environment.
Willingness to train and be certified to drive material handling equipment (order picker, forklift, reach truck, pallet jack, walkie rider).
