Job summary

Stanley Black & Decker in Jackson, TN is seeking a 2nd shift Warehouse Associate earning $20.60 per hour. You’ll perform picking, packing, receiving and system tasks within our Distribution Center, using JDA WMS and Autostore/VLM equipment to ensure accurate, timely shipments.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of warehouse experience, with strong attention to detail, teamwork and the ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of warehouse experience preferred; experience with JDA WMS and automated systems (Autostore, VLM) a plus.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment and technology.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Picking: Accurately pick orders using JDA WMS, following established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Packing: Pack orders efficiently and securely, ensuring all items are properly protected and labeled.
• Receiving: Receive inbound shipments, inspect for damage or discrepancies, and record receipts in JDA.
• System Utilization: Use JDA WMS for inventory transactions, order processing, and documentation.
• General Warehouse Duties: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
