Job summary

Dessert Holdings is seeking a Warehouse Worker for the 2nd shift to support our distribution operations. You will contribute to accurate counts, packaging, staging, loading, and unloading across multiple daily tasks in a fast-paced production environment.

Ideal candidates will have forklift certification, the ability to read and write in English or Spanish, and a commitment to safety and quality standards (SQF/HACCP/GMP). Overtime and weekend work may be required.

Qualifications

• Able to read and write in English or Spanish.
• Must be willing to work overtime, including weekends.
• Able to work in a fast-paced, team environment.
• Must have reliable transportation and be able to work a flexible schedule.
• Must pass forklift training and receive certification.
• Demonstrates safe forklift and electric walking pallet jack operations.

Responsibilities

• Count finished product cases from production.
• Package finished product for shipping (shrink wrap, boxing, labeling).
• Stage finished product for loading.
• Load finished product onto truck.
• Unload raw materials from truck.
• Receive inbound raw materials.
• Move raw materials to warehouse storage.
• Responsible for quality control; no damaged product is sent out or accepted.
• Operates within standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Completes daily logs.
• Communicates with operators from other shifts.
• Cleans and maintains work area.
• Turns off and locks out equipment when not in use.
• Understands SQF, HACCP, and GMP practices that ensure workplace safety and product quality.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
