Job summary

Tappwfs is hiring for a Packaging and Material Handler on the 2nd shift in El Paso, TX. This hands-on role involves filling and packaging orders, moving materials with packaging lines, forklift, or crane, and performing final inspections before shipment.

The position offers a Monday–Friday schedule from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM with optional weekend overtime. Cross-training opportunities into slitting and traverse winding lines will expand your skill set as you grow within the company.

Qualifications

• Basic math and reading/writing are required.
• Ability to use measurement tools such as calipers, micrometer, and tape measure.
• Strong safety mindset and teamwork are essential.
• Basic computer skills are preferred for logging and reporting.
• Warehouse experience is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fill and package orders accurately according to paperwork.
• Operate packaging line, forklift, or crane to move material safely.
• Perform final inspections and complete required paperwork.
• Support team across functions to keep operations running smoothly.
• Keep equipment clean and report issues to supervisor.
• Train other team members as needed.
• Contribute to safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Cross-train on slitting and traverse winding lines over time.
