Job summary

Caleres is seeking a Warehouse Associate for the 2nd shift at Distribution Center 1 in Chino, CA. You will perform order picking/packing, receive and inspect shipments, and collaborate with a team to meet safety and production goals.

Starting pay is $18.50 per hour plus a $1.50 shift differential, with potential overtime. Shift is 3:00 pm–11:30 pm, Mon-Fri. Requires a High School diploma or equivalent and 1–2 years of warehouse experience. Lifting up to 50 pounds is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent years of experience preferred.
• 1-2 years of previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Effective time management skills and attention to detail required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without an accommodation required.

Responsibilities

• Order Picking and Packing: Fulfill customer orders by picking items from designated storage locations according to order specifications. Pack orders securely and efficiently, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
• Receiving and Inspection: Receive incoming shipments, inspect them for accuracy, quality, and damage, and verify that they match the corresponding documentation (such as packing slips or purchase orders).
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with other warehouse team members, supervisors, and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth workflow, resolve operational challenges, and meet customer demands.
