Virginia Eagle Distributing Company is currently hiring for a full-time 2nd shift Warehouse Associate. The work schedule is a 4-day work week, Monday through Thursday, providing a 3-day weekend (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday).

This position involves working Monday to Thursday, from 1:00 pm until close.

The warehouse position entails building beverage orders by stacking beer and non-alcoholic beverages on pallets using a forklift or electric pallet jack. Responsibilities include doing so accurately and efficiently according to company standards. Additional duties may include loading trucks, organizing the warehouse, and maintaining cleanliness.

Previous warehouse experience is preferred; however, applicants with good job stability are also encouraged to apply.

Minimum Requirements:

• Ability to lift and carry, including overhead lifting, 15-40 pounds or more repeatedly during a 10 to 15-hour day, with frequent bending, stooping, standing, kneeling, reaching, pushing, pulling, and sitting.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Effective communication skills in English, both verbal and written.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the job.
