Position: 2nd Shift Value Stream Team Lead (Production Supervisor)

Standard Hours: 2:30 pm – 10:30 pm

Position Summary: The Value Stream Team Leader develops and leads associates, manages employment decisions, and assesses performance within assigned plant value streams. Reporting to the Value Stream Manager, responsibilities include associate development, decision-making, budget management, and performance evaluations of Group Leaders and associates.

Responsibilities:

1. Lead operations of one or more plant value streams.
2. Implement Parker Lean system and Win Strategy to ensure safety, quality, customer service, workforce development, and cost reduction.
3. Oversee daily activities to meet operational expectations.
4. Regularly meet with Value Stream associates.
5. Foster a culture of continuous improvement by addressing problems and solutions.
6. Lead daily operations, supply chain, production control, and manufacturing priorities.
7. Assist in creating continuous product flow and leveling workloads.
8. Ensure standardized work, safety, and 5S compliance.
9. Maintain a positive team environment, hold meetings, and coordinate with other departments.
10. Use PDCA, Tracking Centers, and Improvement Boards to track results.
11. Provide cross-training for associates and backups.
12. Encourage immediate problem resolution to ensure quality.
13. Work with the manager to develop future state value stream maps and plans.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; Business or Engineering preferred.
• 2-5 years management or supervisory experience.
• Knowledge in accounting, manufacturing, HR, and inventory control.
• Strong teamwork, communication skills, and ability to develop others.
• Experience with LEAN methodologies is preferred.
