Job summary

Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Utility Worker for the 2nd shift (3pm through 11pm). Utilities support production area housekeeping, packing, case making, inspecting, and related tasks in line with established procedures.

You will follow safety, health, quality GMP policies, participate in continuous improvement, visually inspect products, and pack bottles to customer specs. The role includes training staff and maintaining a clean, safe workspace.

Qualifications

• Maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.
• Computer usage and typing skills are essential.
• Excellent verbal and written communication, including with internal and external customers.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while providing customer service.
• Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion.
• Communicates effectively: conveys facts clearly both verbally and orally.
• Collaborates well with others and contributes to group objectives.

Responsibilities

• Maintain housekeeping of the production area and proper safety practices.
• Inspect finished products and ensure cases are properly sealed.
• Pack bottles in accordance with customer specifications.
• Operate and restart case making and related equipment safely.
• Notify supervisor of quality or machine issues and assist with rework.
• Train permanent and temporary staff in packing quality and equipment use.
• Keep the work area clean, orderly, and safe.
