Job summary

Bernatello’s Foods in Kaukauna, WI is seeking a Machine Operator for the 2nd shift (2:45pm–1:00am). Starting wage is $22 per hour, with a base of $21 plus a $1 shift differential. This is a full-time position with a comprehensive benefits package.

You will set up and run equipment safely, monitor performance, troubleshoot to minimize downtime, complete required paperwork, and work with teammates to keep production efficient.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read and understand verbal and written English instructions.
• Able to work with pork, dairy, soy, wheat, and eggs.

Responsibilities

• Set up machines
• Operate machines safely
• Ensure machine is operating as efficiently as possible
• Troubleshoot machinery as necessary to minimize downtime
• Tear down the machinery properly and as necessary
• Understand the pre op process of various areas and complete as necessary
• Manage changeover process for assigned area
• Properly dispose of all garbage, food waste, and recycling throughout the shift and document waste
• Complete all required paperwork legibly, accurately, and in a timely manner
• Work together as a team and cooperate with other employees
• Assist in other areas as necessary
• Communicate issues and ideas with line lead or supervisor
• Fill in on other machines as necessary
