Job summary

Terumo Medical Corporation in Elkton, MD is seeking a flexible Utility I for the 2nd shift (1:00p - 9:30p). The role supports multiple manufacturing operations with emphasis on SOPs, CGMPs and GDPs to ensure patient safety.

The position is entry level and requires high school diploma and basic dexterity. Responsibilities include following regulations, safety adherence, and performing various assembly tasks such as Cutting, Washing, Forming, Inspection, and leak testing.

Qualifications

• Requires manual dexterity and precise hand-eye coordination.
• Ability to strictly follow process requirements.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Good communication skills for team and cross-functional work.
• Ability to work effectively individually or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Follow requirements of applicable national and international regulations.
• Adhere to all safety requirements.
• Assist in various Utility I operations (Cutting, Washing, Rod/De-Rod, Forming, Inspection, Silicones, Hand Assembly, leak testing).
• Perform RF welding, bonding, curvature insertion and other assembly tasks.
• Maintain clean work area and comply with GMP/ GDP documentation practices.
• Participate in project performance meetings and contribute ideas for improvements.
