Job summary

Catalent, Inc. in Madison, WI is seeking an entry-level Technician for Upstream Biomanufacturing. You will perform aseptic cell culture in a Grade A environment, manage large-scale cultures in single-use bioreactors, and ensure batch records and SOPs are followed with GDP-compliant documentation.

The role emphasizes safety, quality, and continuous improvement, with potential mentorship of new team members and involvement in CI projects. This is a 100% on-site, 2pm-12am shift opportunity.

Qualifications

• Must have a HS diploma or higher; two years of relevant experience or a degree without experience.
• GMP manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Word/Excel and basic Office tools.
• Experience with TrackWise, ComplianceWire, JD Edwards, DeltaV or chromatography software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic upstream cell culture activities in a Grade A environment.
• Operate large-scale cell culture in single-use bioreactors and clarify bulk harvest.
• Follow BPRs and SOPs, aiming for right first time execution.
• Document activities per GDPs in quality records and forms.
• Identify deviations and raise awareness via Rapid Response.
• Support CI initiatives and may coach junior teammates.
