Zehnder Rittling - A Trusted Name In Hydronic and Radiant Heating Since 1946 located in Western New York at 100 Rittling Blvd., Buffalo, NY 14220, is hiring a MACHINE OPERATOR for the turret machine on the second shift (4:00 pm - 2:30 am, Mon-Thu) with overtime opportunities. The role focuses on set-up and operation to punch and prepare material per customer requirements.

The position requires a HS Diploma or equivalent and at least 1 year of related experience, with basic mechanical aptitude

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of similar work experience preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to work with small hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Set up turret and operate turret equipment to punch and prepare material.
• Review job orders to determine customer specifications.
• Modify computer programs to meet job specifications on a regular basis.
• Set up tooling specifications.
• Perform first piece inspection on punched material to ensure quality.
• Deliver finished punched product to next operation within the cell.
• Order tooling parts through communication with CAD as needed.
• Work as part of a team to identify and eliminate non-value added processes and waste; follow safety protocols.
