Job summary

PPG in Oak Creek, WI is seeking a Traffic Coordinator (2nd Shift) to help ensure on-time deliveries and optimize distribution processes. You will evaluate transportation options, prepare documentation, and coordinate with Final Inspection and Customer Service to keep shipments moving efficiently.

You will process shipments in ERP, create bills of lading, and handle hazardous shipments in compliance with DOT/IMDG/IATA rules.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1+ year of shipment experience in a transportation, logistics, or supply chain role.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Excel and Word preferred for tracking.
• Must complete DOT/IMDG/IATA Dangerous Goods documentation training.

Responsibilities

• Process shipments in the ERP system.
• Create BOLs for shipments and prepare shipping papers.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Process shipments on carrier websites for domestic and international destinations.
• Contact carriers for pickups and manage ASN per customer requirements.
• Support export control during export shipments.
• Adhere to Health, Safety, and Environmental requirements.
