Job summary

Venteon in Hudson, Indiana is seeking a 2nd Shift Tool & Die Maker to support tooling maintenance, repair, and production tooling improvements.

The role requires reading gauges, operating mills, lathes, grinders, and welding skills (TIG/MIG a plus), and the ability to stand on concrete for long periods.

This is a full-time, direct-hire position with competitive pay, bonus potential, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with Progressive and Transfer Metal Stamping Dies.
• Ability to read documents, gauges, and precision measuring instruments.
• Willingness to stand on concrete, lift up to 50 pounds and troubleshoot on press.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, troubleshoot and repair tooling issues during production runs.
• Operate forklift, die cart and overhead crane safely.
• Perform preventative maintenance and process improvements on tooling.
• Operate tooling room machinery (mills, lathes, grinders, saws, drill press) to repair and build parts.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of processes, safety and housekeeping.
• Basic computer skills required.
