Job summary

Teledyne DGO seeks an experienced 2nd Shift Welder to support fabrication, assembly, tooling and manufacturing in a high‑precision environment. You will perform TIG welding, brazing, soldering, fitting and related fabrication activities per engineering specs.

The ideal candidate has strong welding skills, blueprint reading ability, and prior experience in regulated manufacturing such as aerospace or defense. U.S. citizen status preferred due to ITAR.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified TIG Welder preferred.
• Minimum 5 years welding and fabrication experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with stainless steel, aluminum, nickel alloys, or other specialty metals preferred.
• Brazing and soldering experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, drawings, weld symbols, and specifications.
• Review dimensions and tolerances to determine setup methods and sequence.
• Prepare components for welding by cleaning, fitting, and assembling parts.
• Perform TIG welding, brazing, soldering, and other approved welding processes on various metals.
• Weld components in multiple orientations as required.
• Operate welding equipment per procedures and safety standards.
• Inspect welds and assemblies for defects and conformance to specs.
• Maintain welding certifications and ensure quality documentation.
