Job summary

Teledyne DGO is seeking an experienced 2nd Shift Welder to support fabrication in a high-precision environment. The role requires TIG welding, brazing, soldering, and reading blueprints to ensure compliance with specifications.

The ideal candidate has strong welding skills, mechanical aptitude, and experience in regulated manufacturing, with the ability to work on stainless steel and nickel alloys in a team-driven setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Certified TIG Welder preferred.
• Minimum 5 years welding and fabrication experience.
• Experience with stainless steel and aluminum alloys preferred.
• Experience with tooling, fixture fabrication, and mechanical assembly desirable.
• Experience in aerospace or highly regulated industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints and weld symbols.
• Set up parts and determine welding sequences.
• Perform TIG welding on stainless steel and alloys.
• Weld in flat, vertical, and overhead positions.
• Inspect welds for defects and ensure quality.
• Operate welding equipment per procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety in the work area.
• Maintain welding certifications and training.
