Job summary

Super Radiator Coils seeks an experienced TIG welder for 2nd shift to build stainless and carbon steel heat exchangers. Read blueprints, fit parts, and perform precise TIG welds per tight specs in a climate-controlled shop.

You’ll manage heat input and verify weld quality while keeping a clean, organized station. Ideal candidates hold a welding certificate or TIG training, with strong blueprint reading and tool proficiency.

Qualifications

• Welding certificate or TIG training required.
• Excellent blueprint reading and interpretation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship.
• Comfort with hand and power tools; able to lift 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Read prints, fit components, and lay down TIG welds to spec.
• Interpret orders and blueprints to assemble parts.
• Use fixtures, jigs, and measuring tools to align components.
• Control heat input to minimize distortion and ensure part integrity.
• Inspect welds against quality standards and rework as needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and follow procedures.
