Job summary

CTDI is seeking a Tester Operator for the 2nd shift in Logan Township, NJ. This on-site role tests and monitors equipment to ensure the quality and functionality of products.

2nd Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM, Monday - Friday. Pay rate: $17.91/hr + 10% shift differential = $19.70/hr. Responsibilities include testing, data entry, equipment maintenance notes, and adherence to safety regulations in a warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform various tests, analyze results, and identify any defects or issues.
• Observe and conduct operation of equipment and document maintenance needs.
• Troubleshoot control panels, error lights, and messages to ensure proper equipment function.
• Consistently meet or surpass daily production and quality goals.
• Verify equipment data for reporting.
• Interpret, follow and execute testing procedures accurately.
• Communicate with equipment technicians for more complex issues.
• Maintain satisfactory Quality performance levels.
• Enter data into CTDI systems via PC and RF handheld devices.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation.
• Follow warehouse safety regulations.

Tester Operator : Operates, tests, and monitors assigned equipment to ensure the quality and functionality of products.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus.


• Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.


• Written and verbal communication skills.

Educational Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• Warehouse environment


• The ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs., if necessary


• The ability to stand and walk for an extended period of time, if necessary


• The ability to bend, push, pull, twist, and reach in a continuous/repetitive capacity, if necessary.
