Job summary

Astemo, Ltd. is seeking a Machine Technical Associate on the 2nd Shift to support production by performing root cause analysis and implementing repair countermeasures to maintain equipment reliability.

You will collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to improve machine performance and meet quality goals, while mentoring associates and contributing to project planning and housekeeping efforts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• CNC and PLC knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of robots preferred.
• Experience in casting, machining, or assembly preferred.
• Knowledge of machines, valves and vacuum systems preferred.
• Knowledge of casting, machining or assembly processes preferred.

Position Summary:

The purpose of this position is to support production manufacturing through root cause analysis and implementation of machine repair countermeasures and recovery. This role will be focused on the new IPM Department on 2nd Shift. The Machine Technical Associate plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of machinery to meet production goals and quality standards. This role aims to improve manufacturing proficiency levels to meet plant goals and objectives. You will collaborate with other teams to ensure the efficient and reliable functioning of machinery, improving overall productivity and operational excellence.

Minimum Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Requirements:

• Knowledge of CNC and PLC systems and programming
• Knowledge of Robots
• Demonstrated Casting, Machining or Assembly knowledge
• Machines, valves, and vacuum systems knowledge
• Knowledge of processes in Casting, Machining or Assembly
