Job summary

Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division in Reno, NV seeks a Team Lead Seismic for the 2nd shift. The role oversees daily production activities, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while coordinating a high-volume assembly team.

You will train and coach team members, drive continuous improvement, and ensure on-time delivery by optimizing resources. The position is hourly with a $0.50 shift differential and requires hands-on leadership on site.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma, GED, or technical equivalent from an accredited institution
• Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing or assembly experience
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience with direct responsibility for team performance
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
• Experience using manufacturing tools, fixtures, gauges, and measurement equipment
• Forklift experience, including material staging, delivery, and inventory management
• Working knowledge of SAP or similar manufacturing systems
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50‑mile radius of Reno, NV will be considered. Active‑Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation

Responsibilities

• Lead a team responsible for the assembly and packaging of high-volume industrial infrastructure products
• Train, coach, and develop team members while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement
• Drive achievement of safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives
• Coordinate materials, equipment, and workforce resources to meet daily production targets
• Utilize SAP, forklifts, and other manufacturing equipment to support production flow, inventory accuracy, and order completion
• Interpret and work from blueprints, work instructions, and technical specifications
• Maintain production equipment, tooling, and work areas in accordance with established standards
• Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and operational procedures
• Support cross-functional initiatives that improve plant performance and employee engagement
