Eaton’s ES GEIS BLD division seeks a Team Lead Seismic for the 2nd shift. The role oversees daily production, coaching the crew, and ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency in assembling high-volume industrial products.

You will read blueprints, manage materials, and use SAP and forklifts to keep production on target while fostering continuous improvement and strong teamwork. This on-site leadership position is based near Reno, NV.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or technical equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing or assembly experience.
• Prior supervisory experience with team responsibility.
• Ability to read blueprints and mechanical drawings.
• Forklift experience and SAP knowledge.

The hourly rate for this position is $32.30 + .50 Shift Differential per hour.CORE HOURS: 2:30PM - 11PMPlease note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for overseeing daily production activities, coordinating team efforts, and ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency standards are consistently met..In this function you will:Lead a team responsible for the assembly and packaging of high-volume industrial infrastructure products.Train, coach, and develop team members while promoting a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.Drive achievement of safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives.Coordinate materials, equipment, and workforce resources to meet daily production targets.Utilize SAP, forklifts, and other manufacturing equipment to support production flow, inventory accuracy, and order completion.Interpret and work from blueprints, work instructions, and technical specifications.Maintain production equipment, tooling, and work areas in accordance with established standards.Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and operational procedures.Support cross-functional initiatives that improve plant performance and employee engagement.Position Criteria: Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and blueprints.Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.Commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence.Ability to collaborate across departments and support site-wide initiatives.Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Qualifications:Required (Basic) Qualifications:Must have a High School Diploma, GED, or technical equivalent from an accredited institutionMinimum of 2 years of manufacturing or assembly experience.Previous leadership or supervisory experience with direct responsibility for team performance.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance.Experience using manufacturing tools, fixtures, gauges, and measurement equipment.Forklift experience, including material staging, delivery, and inventory management.Working knowledge of SAP or similar manufacturing systems.Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future.No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Reno, NV will be considered.
