Job summary

Calyx Living in Raleigh, NC is seeking an energetic 2nd Shift Supervisor in Charge (SIC) / Med Tech for our assisted living community. The role supervises care staff, administers medications, and supports Personal Care Assistants in delivering daily resident care.

Responsibilities include maintaining updated schedules, ensuring training and safety protocols are followed, and providing high-quality senior care on evenings and weekends. Weekend and holiday availability is required.

Qualifications

• 21 years of age or older
• Prior experience as a Supervisor in Charge
• Prior experience with seniors strongly preferred
• Active North Carolina MT Certification required
• Active CPR Certification required
• Must be available to work weekends and holidays

Responsibilities

• Supervise care staff while supporting daily resident care.
• Administer medications as directed and ensure accurate documentation.
• Support Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) in delivering personal care services.
• Provide daily assistance to residents and maintain up-to-date work schedules.
• Ensure training is current and follow established safety protocols.

Calyx is looking to hire Supervisor in Charge (SIC) / Med Techwho will support the supervision of care staff while being responsible for the administration of medications and supporting the Personal Care Assistants (PCA's) by providing personal care services to our seniors. Responsibilities include but are not limited to providing assistance to residents on a daily basis, supervising staff, keeping an updated work schedule as call outs/changes occur, assure training is up to date and follow established safety precautions.
