Job summary

Delaware Area Career Center (DACC) is seeking a Substitute Custodian (2nd Shift) to perform custodial duties on an as-needed basis, ensuring a safe, clean learning environment for students, staff, and the community. The role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and supports general maintenance and cleaning tasks as described in the job description.

The position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) with preferred post-secondary trade training and custodial experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent.
• Post-secondary training in a trade is preferred.
• Custodial and/or building maintenance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor building conditions during working hours.
• Report suspected problems and unsafe conditions promptly.
• Perform minor repairs that do not disrupt routine activities.
