Coatesville Area School District is seeking a Substitute Custodian to support multiple buildings in Thorndale, PA. The role offers 1st shift (6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.) or 2nd shift (2:30 p.m.

– 11:00 p.m.) work as needed, with the aim of maintaining a clean, safe, and well-kept environment for students and staff. Responsibilities include cleaning floors, restrooms, and furnishings, assisting with setup for activities, and reporting equipment issues to the Head Custodian.

Responsibilities

• Keep floors clean and in good condition.
• Disinfects toilet floors daily and cleans fixtures and drinking fountains daily.
• Cleans corridors after school and during the day as needed.
• Keeps grounds, parking lots, closets, and basements free of rubbish.
• Cleans chalkboards daily; keeps entrances clean.
