Job summary

Dover’s Vehicle Service Group (VSG) is seeking a Grade 7 Welder for 2nd shift to perform general structural welding using GMAW and possibly SAW in a warehouse/manufacturing environment in Madison, Indiana. PPE is required, and the role is onsite with potential additional duties across equipment in the plant.

Responsibilities include setup of fixtures, material handling, welding, and ensuring quality. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to pass welding tests and basic

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to pass general aptitude/basic math skills test.
• Must be able to lift at least 35 lbs repeatedly.
• Must pass welding coupon test and written welding test.

Responsibilities

• Set up fixtures and adjust machine for proper penetration and weld quality.
• Operate welding machines (GMAW/SAW) and monitor process.
• Load/unload fixtures and move parts within the work area.
• Maintain safe, clean work area and assist others as needed.
