Job summary

Birchaven Village is seeking a Nurse Aide to deliver direct resident care under the supervision of a Charge Nurse. You will assist with personal needs, ensure resident safety, and support room prep and supplies management.

The role requires a State Tested Nurse Aide registry in Ohio, a minimum age of 16, and compassionate, team-focused service. Adherence to policies and resident rights is essential, with exposure precautions typical of healthcare settings.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Active registry as a State Tested Nurse Aide with the State of Ohio.
• Positive service-oriented interpersonal and communication skills.
• Demonstrate knowledge/skills to provide care for aging residents on assignment.
• Ability to assess data reflective of resident status and identify needs.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care and prepare rooms as directed by nursing staff.
• Communicate needs to inventory personnel to restock supplies for daily resident care.
• Perform duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Demonstrate service excellence and align with mission/values to promote resident satisfaction.
• Comply with organizational policies and regulatory requirements.
