Job summary

Smart Resources Group in Fort Worth, TX seeks an experienced Production Manager to lead Steel Processing operations on the 2nd shift. You will ensure safety, manage production scheduling, staffing, and quality, and drive performance on the shop floor.

Hands-on leadership, a strong track record with coil processing or similar, and comfort working around industrial equipment with strict PPE and safety standards.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in production management or operations leadership in metals processing or steel manufacturing.
• Experience managing production schedules, staffing, and department performance.
• Knowledge of coil processing, cut-to-length, decoiling, slitting, material handling.
• Experience using production metrics/KPIs to improve throughput, efficiency, and quality.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day steel processing operations with responsibility for safety, production, staffing, scheduling, quality, and productivity.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team on the production floor.
• Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence across the department.
